Cram-week 1

This week in Cram was a very interesting and fun week!
As i group i was working with Chloe and we took pictures the week before which was the first week into the proper CRAM course!
We had a chance this week to review and edit our short introduction films of ourselves that we made in our groups. We used the film editing software and used the dynamics of our voices to turn our film into a funny film, but adding music in the background to fit the video it gave it a more humorous affect to our video. In the end we were successful in making our film and editing it , because we worked as a group and gave different opinions on things and had a go at editing in turns and out jobs of editing were equally divided. If we could change one thing i think it would be that maybe add another layer of sound or add more visual affects to our video.

A commen leading line,
the yellow lines are leading on to the rest
of the road
We also for the second part of the lesson took the pictures on cameras which had films on them, and we had a tutorial on how we have to use them and how film cameras work. By carefully looking at our background and using the different photography techniques, one of them is the rule of thirds which consists of looking at the background and the object being on the left side or right side of the shot and either being on the top/bottom left or top/bottom right, and we went around the school seeing how we could use the stairs and make them look more interesting than they are! If we could change one thing i think it would be to be more aware of our time deadline and to use the white balance to make our photos , perhaps, more effective to the eye.
After that we had a chance to improve on our videos again and really reviewing and improving on what we have done.
This is another photography technique about the rule of thirds
it shows the flower is,more or less, on the bottem right of the picture
which looks better to the eye and is a moire effective photo.
Some of our transitions were not as smooth so we could of have improved on this and also using titles and credits to perhaps make our films more professional.
At the end of the lesson i had learnt how to take good and effective photos and thinking about the lighting and the exposure and how the end result would look like but also thinking of the white balance in general. Another thing i learnt was how to edit and shorten bits of my videos that we had taken the previous week which was interesting because it shows how much it adds effect to the video just by adding some music and shortening bits of the video and replying them.
In general it was a fun lesson and i got alot out of it!
